Hello! I am Katherine, an American interactive designer, artist, and a former New Yorker living in France. For the past 15 years, I have worked as a freelancer, a web designer, a web developer, and an interactive designer in New York City. Before moving to France I worked for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network (WSJDN) in New York City, where I worked on WSJ Mobile, SmartMoney Online, MarketWatch and WSJ.com and led UX design effort for Barrons Online & Barrons on iPad. My 15+ years of experiences up to my time at WSJDN has sharpened my skills and fine-tuned my practice of bringing digital content onto multiple platforms with a dozen languages to millions of users around the world.

To live happily ever after with the love of my life, I left the island of Manhattan, quit my job at WSJDN and moved to France in 2013. Now I live in the beautiful Bretagne in western France with my husband. I run my own design practice and you can also find my designs on Etsy.

I hold a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree in Marketing/Advertising from Baruch College, the City University Of New York. A self-taught artist, I spend my time away from the computers painting and drawing.

To contact me for projects, freelance opportunities or my artworks, please email me at: me@madamelevasseur.com. For resume, please connect with me on Linkedin.

I look forward to working with you.
